This double record serves as the soundtrack to Heather Christian’s “Animal Wisdom” — a music forward theater ritual and gathering that sold out a critically acclaimed 10 week run at the Bushwick Starr in New York city October-December of 2017:

This is a soundtrack of a theater event reimagined as a different kind of offering:
it is one half concept album, one half live recorded event.
These two records were made by a bunch of REAL PEOPLE who willed this thing into existance, including over 100 private donors and 85 singers who learned the Requeim in a week because they are beautiful souls who had something to sing loud about.

What a walk. I'm a continent away and I was immediately transported to the cemetary. I could almost smell the air. I come out of this experience with a peaceful mind and more knowledge about some incredible (and not so) people. Thank you for the prompt to listen to the world around us and the music that each sound makes- even if it's someone typing on the computer instead of the rustle of the leaves in the cemetary.
