  • Compact Disc (CD)

These are the remaining copies of Cabinet that didn't get destroyed in the house fire. They include a cd jacket which is a one of a kind hand written love note from Heather (it is extensive), and a detachable pen and ink/watercolor mini-art piece for framing or fridge display (each one is different).

Hand pencil sketched case and of course, the surviving cd.

They were made in the eye of hurricane Isaac, they are teeming with ninja survivor mojo.

lyrics

Mama, go freely
Mama, go empty too
Blanked on the ages
The colorful dreams of you

Gerry gone sideways
Waiting for judgement day
But sure heart and highways
God blessed her with severance pay

Here on the birch bank
Here on Saint Andrew's mill
Mama's brass cornet
Would jumpstart the roving till

Stone bridge to high town
Your fancy's not far from there
And the wolves get to high ground
We all have our cross to bear

Ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya, son
Ya ya ya ya ya
Ya ya ya ya ya, son

Old man in high horn
With a beard down between his blades
On pulpit of sulphur
Robed in his prophet face

He needed language
He needed oxygen
But surely he'll manage
Out here on the tiller run

So follow me Tuesday
Follow me o'er the plains
Cause baby, we're somewhere
Surely some trace remains
Baby, we're somewhere
Surely some trace remains

about

Heather Christian & The Arbornauts Beacon, New York

An Arbornaut is a three way cross between a flying squirrel, an astronaut, and an angel. I know one as soon as I spot one. They are naturally occuring in nature. I had a dream about them once and started a band. We are a choir and we are an orchestra. We are disgruntled classical musicians & believers in musical traditions of feeling lots of things. This is the noise from the inside of a root. ... more
